Senior Procurement Officer

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.

• Practical knowledge of TT/LC processes and international procurement.

• Strong understanding of HSN codes, customs tariffs, and import duty calculations.

• Experience in shipment coordination through road, sea, and air.

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.

• Good knowledge of procurement documentation, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier management.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Manage sourcing, purchasing, and procurement activities in line with company requirements and approved budgets.

• Handle TT/LC opening processes for local, India, and third-country purchases.

• Apply knowledge of HSN codes, customs tariffs, and duty calculations for imported goods.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery conditions with suppliers.

• Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and related procurement documentation.

• Conduct market research to monitor pricing, suppliers, and market trends.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers across Nepal and India.

• Attend vendor meetings and negotiate favorable commercial terms.

• Coordinate shipment bookings through road, sea, and air freight.

• Track shipments and coordinate the receiving and stocking of ordered materials.

• Review supplier quotations, proposals, invoices, and supporting documents.

• Handle procurement-related claims, shortages, damages, and losses.

• Coordinate with internal teams, operations personnel, suppliers, and external agencies to ensure timely availability of materials and services.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and applicable procedures.
