Interior Designer

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or related field
• Diploma in Interior Design (acceptable)
• 2 years in interior design, showroom sales, or related roles
• Experience with residential clients preferred
• Exposure to lighting/electrical products is a plus
• Basic understanding of interior design and space planning
• Strong sales and communication skills
• Client-focused approach with solution mindset
• Good presentation and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp (preferred)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Ability to multitask and coordinate across teams

• Act as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, inbound inquiries, and generated leads from various channels
• Engage with clients to understand their space, requirements, preferences, budget, and timelines
• Ask the right probing questions to uncover both stated and unstated needs
• Translate client requirements into viable product and design solutions
• Present curated product options with clear explanations of features, benefits, and pricing
• Prepare and share quotations in coordination with internal teams
• Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the sales funnel
• Provide basic interior design and lighting guidance tailored to the client’s space and lifestyle
• Suggest appropriate lighting layers (ambient, task, accent) based on room function
• Recommend suitable fixtures, finishes, and electrical solutions aligned with overall design themes
• Assist clients in visualizing product placement and overall look
• Work closely with the design team to develop layouts, mood boards, or technical drawings when required
• Identify and connect with interior designers, architects, and design firms for business development
• Build trust-based relationships to become a preferred product partner
• Regularly share product catalogs, updates, and new launches with design partners
• Provide samples, mockups, and technical specifications as required
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all product categories including lighting, switches, and electrical solutions
• Understand product applications across different spaces (residential rooms, layouts, etc.)
• Clearly articulate product USPs, comparisons, and use cases to clients and designers
