Mortgage Credit Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Australian mortgage processing or credit assessment
• Proficient in MS Office, Nexus, Apply Online, and similar mortgage/CRM tools
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently

• Analyze income documents (payslips, tax returns, financial statements) for PAYG, self-employed, or business-owner clients
• Prepare detailed loan submissions, including credit proposals, income breakdowns, loan summaries, and exit strategies
• Conduct scenario analyses to identify suitable lenders based on client financials and loan preferences
• Validate declared living expenses against Household Expenditure Measure (HEM) benchmarks
• Review broker notes and integrate insights into loan strategy
• Ensure accurate data management in CRM and maintain up-to-date client records
• Review and verify client assets, liabilities, and monthly expenses
• Organize and maintain client folders, redact sensitive information, and prepare compliant submission packages
• Draft professional emails outlining lending strategies, approval conditions, and next steps
• Provide guidance on exception loan applications and recommend tailored strategies to improve approval likelihood
