Requirements :-
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in manufacturing management, supply chain, or relevant fields are a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production management, quality control, or supply chain management.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in production management software (ERP systems like SAP or Oracle).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Nepali and English is essential.
- Knowledge of local dialects or Hindi may be advantageous in some regions.
- Familiarity with Nepali labor laws, environmental regulations, and manufacturing standards.
Job Responsibility :-
- Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, including regular inspections and testing.
- Supervise and train production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage the manufacturing budget, aiming to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
- Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and optimize resource use.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to optimize production processes and introduce new technologies.
- Ensure the manufacturing facility adheres to all health and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety among employees, providing regular training and safety drills.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including contractors and logistics providers.
- Prepare regular reports on production metrics, quality control, and financial performance for senior management.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with local and international regulations, including environmental standards.
- Liaise with government bodies and industry associations to stay updated on regulatory changes.
