Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

• More than 4 years of experience in QA/QC.

• More than 2 years of experience in automation testing.

• Proven track record as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.

• Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Skilled in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, Vitest, and TestNG.

• Experience in performance and security testing is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Experienced with issue-tracking systems like JIRA and ClickUp.

• Experience with test automation tools.

• Design and document comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Identify test requirements from specifications and map them to the test coverage plan.

• Execute manual and automated tests across multiple software applications.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems like JIRA.

• Perform post-release and post-implementation testing.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and Vitest.

• Continuously improve and evolve the automation framework.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand code changes and their testing impact.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback based on test results.

• Prepare detailed and well-structured test reports.

• Document test procedures and outcomes.

• Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project teams and stakeholders.

• Identify and implement improvements to QA processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
