Public Relations Coordinator

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in PR, media, communications, journalism, or a similar role.

• Good understanding of public relations, media relations, and communication strategies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to write and edit press releases, news articles, and communication materials.

• Strong relationship-building and coordination skills with journalists and media outlets.

• Knowledge of the Nepalese media landscape is preferred.

• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and reporting is an advantage.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Professional, proactive, and confident when communicating with media and stakeholders.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns and communication activities for the company and clients.

• Prepare, edit, and distribute press releases, news articles, media briefs, and other PR materials.

• Coordinate with journalists, media houses, editors, and media partners to facilitate media coverage.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate interviews, press events, media interactions, and other PR activities.

• Monitor media coverage across print, online, television, and other relevant channels.

• Prepare media monitoring reports, coverage summaries, and PR performance reports.

• Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across PR and communication materials.

• Support the development and execution of communication strategies for clients.

• Research relevant media opportunities, industry trends, and news topics.

• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and ensure timely delivery of PR materials.

• Maintain organized records of media contacts, press releases, coverage, and PR activities.

• Handle multiple PR assignments while meeting deadlines and client requirements.
