Engineering Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• 5+ years of software development experience

• 2+ years of team leadership or management experience

• Strong knowledge of system design and architecture

• Experience with modern technologies (e.g., MERN stack, cloud platforms)

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices

• Experience managing cross-functional teams

• Define technical vision and long-term engineering roadmap

• Oversee system architecture, design patterns, and technology stack selection

• Ensure scalability, security, and performance optimization

• Approve technical standards, frameworks, and coding guidelines

• Manage full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Monitor sprint planning, releases, and deployments

• Ensure quality assurance and testing processes

• Supervise CI/CD pipeline implementation

• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies

• Ensure system reliability and disaster recovery planning

• Oversee security compliance and risk management

• Align engineering goals with business objectives

• Collaborate with product managers and executives

• Manage engineering budgets and resource allocation

• Present technical reports and updates to leadership

• Establish quality control standards

• Drive automation and efficiency improvements

• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions
