ETP Operator

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and systems
• Familiarity with water quality parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, and TSS
• Understanding of environmental regulations and Pollution Control Board (PCB) standards
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment (pumps, motors, pipelines, valves)
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively
• Good documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance

• Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) on a daily basis
• Ensure proper treatment of industrial wastewater as per regulatory standards
• Adjust chemical dosing and process parameters to maintain optimal plant performance
• Conduct regular sampling and testing of influent and effluent water
• Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, reports, and compliance documents
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of plant equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot operational problems promptly
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste
• Comply with Pollution Control Board (PCB) regulations and environmental guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and a zero-accident work environment

• Support and guide junior staff when required
