Cloud System Administrator

• Proficiency in google services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.
• configuring Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, setting up firewall rules.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, and load balancing.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Coordinating with development teams to deploy applications and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell and Terraform.
• Desirable experience or familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Nepalese to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent degree with 3-5 years of Experience in Google Cloud Platform.
• Additional certifications in google cloud platform and cybersecurity can be beneficial.

• Configuration and set up the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, containers and virtualize environments in cloud, hybrid cloud.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices for security and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to google services and applications.
• Automate deployment and management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Configure the instances, resources for migration from on-prem to cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and operations.
• Performance monitoring, scalability and managing the microservices.
• Set up the BCP, Dister recovery and restoration activities.
• Configure the backup tool like Veeam and backup policy.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to safeguard cloud assets.
• Maintain documentation of cloud Services, processes, and procedures.
