System / Server Administrator

• 2+ years of experience administering servers in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration and virtualization platforms.
• Good knowledge of installing, managing, backing up, and restoring databases.
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal server administration and components such as RAID controllers and iDRAC.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, Perl, or PHP.
• Good understanding of server security, patch management, firewalls, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, and infrastructure management tools.
• RHCSA or RHCE certification/course completion will be an advantage

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments on virtual and bare-metal servers.
• Install and administer virtualization platforms such as XenServer, Proxmox, XCP-ng, and VMware.
• Deploy and maintain monitoring tools including Nagios, Cacti, MRTG, Zabbix, Observium, Grafana, and similar platforms.
• Maintain and monitor backups of critical systems and ensure data can be restored when required.
• Install and manage ELK Stack and other log monitoring systems.
• Retrieve and analyze logs based on IP addresses and MAC addresses, including NAT logs, for troubleshooting and investigation.
• Install, configure, and manage MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL in standalone or clustered environments.
• Troubleshoot IP blacklisting, mail server, and related connectivity issues and provide timely solutions.
• Conduct server security audits and implement necessary security patches, firewall rules, and hardening measures.
• Monitor server health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and ensure production systems remain stable and secure.
