Area Manager (Supermarket Operations)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in supermarket or retail operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stores and operational teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of retail SOPs, inventory control, and customer service standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets.
• Willingness to travel frequently between branches.
• Must have a valid two-wheeler license and own a two-wheeler.

• Supervise and manage operations across assigned supermarket branches.
• Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of operational targets and KPIs.
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and customer service standards.
• Monitor inventory management, stock availability, shrinkage, and store productivity.
• Support store managers and supervisors in resolving operational challenges.
• Train, mentor, and develop store supervisors and team members.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee the implementation of promotions, pricing strategies, and branding activities.
• Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Handle operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
