Mid-Level Backend Developer

• 2–4 years of professional experience in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and REST API development.

• Hands-on experience with NestJS or Express.js.

• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and relational database design.

• Familiarity with Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize.

• Understanding of JWT, OAuth, authentication, and authorization.

• Basic knowledge of Redis and caching concepts.

• Experience working with production applications and Git.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned features.

• Knowledge of Docker, Linux, Docker Compose, and CI/CD is a plus.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, or Express.js.

• Build secure authentication and authorization features using JWT and OAuth.

• Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORM tools such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize.

• Implement business logic, optimize queries, and improve application performance using Redis caching.

• Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment.

• Troubleshoot bugs, resolve production issues, and contribute to system improvements.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, product managers, and senior engineers.

• Follow best practices for clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code.

We’re looking for a proactive Backend Engineer who can take ownership of features, solve technical challenges, and build secure, scalable backend systems. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with senior engineers, frontend developers, QA, and product teams. Experience with SaaS/EdTech, real-time systems, cloud platforms, or AI-powered applications will be an added advantage.
