Junior Backend Developer

• Develop backend features under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Build, maintain, and integrate REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Write SQL queries and implement business logic using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Debug issues, troubleshoot bugs, and improve application reliability.

• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-structured code.

• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.

• Learn backend architecture, testing, debugging, and deployment best practices.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and other engineering team members.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and blockers effectively.

• 0–2 years of backend development experience.

• Internship, academic, freelance, or personal project experience is acceptable.

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with NestJS or Express.js.

• Understanding of REST API development and integration.

• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQL queries.

• Familiarity with Git and version control.

• Understanding of backend development fundamentals.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

• Basic knowledge of Docker, Linux, or ORM tools is an advantage.
