Engineering Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• 3–5 years of engineering leadership experience managing teams or technical leads
• Strong hands-on software development background
• Deep understanding of scalable software architecture and engineering best practices
• Experience with AI, automation technologies, or AI-driven product initiatives
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience in SaaS or product-based software companies
• Familiarity with ERP, enterprise systems, or integration-heavy platforms
• Experience scaling engineering teams and delivery processes
• Knowledge of staffing, HR tech, or workforce management industries

• Lead and manage the engineering function, including delivery, quality, people management, and technical direction
• Mentor and guide Technical Leads and engineering teams across Web, Mobile, Database, and Integrations
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team development
• Manage end-to-end engineering delivery from sprint planning to production release
• Ensure timely, high-quality product delivery across multiple workstreams
• Translate business and product goals into technical execution plans
• Identify delivery risks, manage dependencies, and maintain release schedules
• Drive architecture decisions focused on scalability, security, and maintainability
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD
• Support teams in solving complex technical and cross-functional challenges
• Reduce technical debt through strategic planning and execution
• Improve engineering workflows, estimation processes, and release management
• Track engineering metrics related to delivery, quality, reliability, and team performance
• Introduce tools and best practices to improve productivity and scalability
• Lead AI adoption initiatives across products and engineering operations
• Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and AI-powered features
• Align AI initiatives with product strategy and business objectives
• Ensure secure, responsible, and scalable AI implementation practices
• Work closely with Product, QA, Implementation, and Leadership teams
• Communicate project status, technical risks, and delivery progress effectively
• Contribute to product roadmap planning and engineering prioritization
