Assistant Purchase Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in purchasing and store management.

• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial Purchase & Store role.

• Experience in hotels, resorts, hospitality, or large multi-department organizations is preferred.

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and procurement skills.

• Knowledge of inventory management practices (FIFO/FILO) and stock control.

• Proficiency in PMS software such as Tally, IDS, MS, or similar inventory systems.

• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Strong computer literacy and attention to detail.

• Local candidates with an established vendor network will be given preference.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.

• Prepare and manage purchase orders for all hotel departments.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control measures.

• Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.

• Ensure proper inventory practices, including FIFO/FILO, stock reconciliation, and waste reduction.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update PMS/software systems.

• Coordinate timely vendor payment clearances with the finance team.

• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure physical stock matches system records.

• Ensure compliance with hotel procurement policies and inventory management standards.
