SQL Developer with DevOps DBA (Mid Level)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

4–6 years of hands-on experience in SQL development and basic database administration

Proficiency in SQL with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server

Strong knowledge of data modeling, indexing strategies, and query optimization

Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Shell scripting, Liquibase)

Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins for automated database deployments

Basic knowledge of Linux server environments and database access control

Experience working with cloud-managed databases (e.g., Amazon RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure SQL)

Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j)

Understanding of multi-model databases and polyglot persistence

Knowledge of database backup, recovery, replication, and monitoring tools

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and data transformation scripts

Design, normalize, and optimize relational database schemas

Manage and maintain database environments (development, staging, pre-production)

Implement schema versioning, data migrations, and routine backup strategies

Collaborate with development teams for performance tuning and data modeling

Automate database scripts and deployments via CI/CD pipelines

Monitor database health, indexing efficiency, and resource usage
