React Software Engineer (Frontend)

 ● Experience in engineering client-side TypeScript / Javascript applications with libraries related to such implementations, including React, MobX, Webpack.

● Experience with component design libraries (e.g., Material-UI) and css preprocessor like SASS

● Good understanding of client-side state management and application architecture patterns.

● Experience with unit testing, mocking, stubbing, and frameworks (jest).

● Experience with client-side analytics tools (event libraries, profiler, etc.).

● Basic knowledge of WordPress (frontend / backend) Experience

● 2+ years of programming experience Languages ● Strong verbal and written English a must. 

● Day-to-day hands-on work in detailed engineering, coding, documentation, and unit testing of components across the Zegal platform, in particular client-side components in our web applications.

● Work with other team members to integrate software into working releases for testing and eventual production deployment.

● Ongoing maintenance of components throughout the software lifecycle.

● Direction and mentoring of junior members of the team assigned to assist in the development of relevant components.

● Work with Project Manager and Chief Technology Officer to plan work around new feature development and optimisation refactoring.

● BAU work such as bug fixing, testing and patching our web applications.

● Occasional Wordpress web development for the marketing website.
