Junior QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

• Strong understanding of manual testing concepts and QA processes.

• Experience writing and executing test cases.

• Basic hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar.

• Basic understanding of web applications, browsers, APIs, databases, and user flows.

• Ability to clearly document bugs and communicate issues with the development team.

• Good attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of Git.

• Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman.

• Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, or any programming language.

• Experience with automation framework development is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development process.

• Experience in cross-browser and responsive testing. Basic understanding of CI/CD testing flow is a plus.

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.

• Write, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.

• Report bugs with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, expected results, and actual results.

• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before release.

• Test new features, user flows, APIs, dashboards, forms, reports, and integrations.

• Perform smoke testing, functional testing, UI testing, regression testing, sanity testing, and basic API testing.

• Support automation testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

• Write and maintain basic automation scripts for repeated test cases.

• Use Postman or similar tools for API testing.

• Work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and operations teams to understand requirements.

• Participate in sprint testing, release testing, and production issue verification.

• Help improve QA processes, test coverage, and product quality.
