Factory Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing (construction materials preferred)
• Experience with brick manufacturing, cement, or similar industries
• Strong expertise in production planning and workflow optimization
• Knowledge of quality control systems and material standards
• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance
• Strong understanding of industrial safety practices
• Experience in workforce planning and productivity improvement
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay on-site
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills in English and Nepali
• Proven leadership and team management abilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily manufacturing operations
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently
• Monitor production output and adjust workflows to meet targets

2. Quality Control & Process Discipline

• Ensure products meet defined quality standards
• Collaborate with QC teams for raw material and finished goods checks
• Identify defects and implement corrective actions

3. Cost Optimization & Resource Management

• Estimate and control manufacturing costs
• Reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
• Optimize use of materials, labor, and equipment

4. Workforce Management & Leadership

• Hire, train, and supervise production staff
• Evaluate performance and provide coaching
• Maintain a disciplined and safety-focused work environment

5. Maintenance & Operational Reliability

• Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

6. Safety & ESG Compliance

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards
• Promote environmentally sustainable practices
• Support low-emission and eco-friendly processes

7. Process Improvement

• Review and audit production processes
• Implement improvements for efficiency and quality

8. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare production and performance reports
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and management teams
