Mid Level QA

Minimum 2 yrs of experience needed

Must have sound knowledge of Software Testing (Types/Methods/Levels of Testing)

Must have hands-on experience in test automation of web/mobile applications (Selenium, or any other automation tool)

Must have hands-on experience in API testing

Must have experience working with version control system GIT

Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL

Knowledge of any Test Management and Bug Tracking tools

Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to observe and learn

Experience working in a SCRUM/Agile team

SOFT SKILLS

Proactive, with the ability to work well independently and as a team

Persuasive in both written and verbal communication

Strong Analytical Skill

Get involved in the project from the requirement gathering to the release

Understand business, functional, and non-functional requirements of the project

Prepare Manual as well as Automated test cases to ensure adequate test coverage and speed of execution of web/mobile applications

Test execution on various levels (System Test, Regression Test, Smoke Test, etc.)

Reporting gaps in the newly developed features

Test Automation of data/ Database level testing

Research/implementation of the latest test automation frameworks

Active participation in project-level discussion/meeting

Should lead a team in a project or a project depending on the situation. Also, should make sure that the juniors and mid-level developers are given proper direction and guidance.

Focus on developing team communication and motivation through continuous feedback to mid/junior-level developers.

Continuously research new tools and technologies and make necessary changes or suggestions after weighing all alternatives. Focus on sharing existing or researched knowledge about tools and technologies with the team ensuring the growth of the team.

Continuously improve efficiency using new technologies and automation.

Report to the Project Manager/Team Leader/CTO regarding the progress, and impediments of assigned project/tasks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with good decision-making ability

Good written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with client communication
