Senior Software Engineer (Python)

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python
• Strong expertise in Python with solid experience in FastAPI (Django experience is a plus)
• Proven understanding of RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, and microservice architecture
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization; experience with MySQL or NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy for data transformation and analytics
• Familiar with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2.0, JWT, and SSO
• Experience integrating external APIs and AI models (LLMs such as OpenAI or Hugging Face preferred)
• Good understanding of multi-tenant architecture and data isolation principles
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to performance and scalability
• Proven leadership experience mentoring or managing a small engineering team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI
• Architect and implement microservices for high performance and reliability
• Build and manage data pipelines with pandas and NumPy
• Work with PostgreSQL, optimize SQL queries, and design efficient schemas
• Integrate LLMs and external APIs into backend workflows with AI engineers
• Lead and mentor backend developers; guide cross-functional teams
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps workflows
• Collaborate with Frontend, QA, and BI teams for smooth integration
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and product planning
• Maintain technical documentation and promote engineering best practices
• Stay updated with latest trends in AI, FastAPI, and cloud-native backend tech
