Senior Software Engineer

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, with strong proficiency in React

• Proven DevOps/Platform experience: Docker, Terraform (IaC), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)

• Experience with monitoring, metrics, and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch)

• Strong systems thinking: concurrency, backpressure, caching, idempotency, failure isolation

• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production

• Comfortable with on-call rotations and production ownership

• Strong communication skills with a collaborative, low-ego mindset

• Design, build, and maintain production services in Node.js (TypeScript) and Go, with clean interfaces to a React TypeScript frontend

• Own AWS infrastructure and deployments (ECS/Fargate, EKS, ECR, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, SQS/SNS, IAM) using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes for frequent production deployments, including canaries, rollbacks, and automated testing

• Ensure high performance and reliability of websocket-based, event-driven systems and APIs at scale

• Define and maintain SLOs, monitoring, dashboards, and alerting systems

• Partner with the Conversational AI team to productionize LLM-driven features (latency optimization, fallbacks, evaluation hooks)

• Collaborate closely with Product and Customer teams to translate enterprise workflows into secure, scalable solutions
