Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on project requirements.

• Oversee QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring proper resource allocation and prioritization based on project timelines and risks.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute functional, regression, acceptance, and exploratory testing.

• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Cypress.

• Perform API testing and validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.

• Coordinate test environment setup, configuration, and maintenance.

• Manage test data, test documentation, and bug-tracking processes.

• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects while recommending effective solutions.

• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Establish and implement QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.

• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, delegate responsibilities, and provide technical feedback.

• Monitor testing progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• Strong knowledge of both manual and automation testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or Rest Assured.

• Experience with API testing, functional testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab Actions.

• Familiarity with Git, SQL, and database testing.

• Experience in web and mobile application testing.

• Knowledge of security testing and load/performance testing tools.

• Experience with bug-tracking and project management tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team members.
