Senior QA Engineer

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (manual and automation testing)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, IM, CSIT, or related field
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices
• Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and API testing
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or JavaScript
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab Actions
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior QA engineers is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans
• Oversee project testing activities based on priorities, risks, and team strengths
• Lead execution of functional, regression, and acceptance testing
• Support test environment setup/teardown, automation, and exploratory testing
• Manage test data, documentation, and reporting
• Analyze issues and provide effective solutions based on system and business understanding
• Mentor and guide QA team members to enhance technical capabilities
• Assist junior staff in decision-making, problem-solving, and task management
• Define and promote QA standards, best practices, and organizational processes
