Senior Backend Engineer (Java – Microservices)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of backend software development experience using Java in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices-based distributed systems.

• Proven ability to design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architecture.

• Strong expertise in system design, scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and production-grade container orchestration.

• Experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Strong command of software design patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and clean architecture principles.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence engineering decisions across teams.

• Design and develop enterprise-grade, cloud-native backend services using Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices.

• Lead system design discussions, create architectural blueprints, and drive key design decisions for the platform.

• Modernize legacy systems by re-architecting them into microservices hosted on cloud platforms.

• Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure observability through logging, tracing, and monitoring tools.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices, code quality, and engineering excellence.

• Ensure all solutions meet compliance, security, and enterprise development standards.
