QA Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer related studies

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Must have at least 2 years of Software Development/Programming experience in the past or recently preferably in JavaScript or Python and 1 year of experience in Testing (Manual as well as automation)

• Must have sound knowledge of Software Testing (Types/Methods/Levels of Testing)

• Must have hands-on experience in test automation of web applications (Selenium WebDriver/ Cypress/ Playwright/QTP/ SmartBear’s TestComplete or any other automation tool)

• Must have hands-on experience in API testing

• Must have experience working with version control system GIT

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Knowledge of any Test Management and Bug Tracking tools

• Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to observe and learn

• Experience working in a SCRUM/Agile team would be added value

PREFERABLE SKILLS

• Experience with tools like JMeter, Postman

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery

• US Healthcare experience would be added value

SOFT SKILLS

• Proactive, with the ability to work well independently and as a team

• Persuasive in both written and verbal communication

• Strong Analytical Skills

• Understand business, functional, and non-functional requirements of the project

• Test execution on various levels (System Test, Regression Test, Smoke Test)

• Prepare Manual as well as automated test cases to ensure adequate test coverage and speed of execution of web applications

• Reporting gaps in the newly developed features

• Test Automation of data/ Database level testing

• Research/implementation of latest test automation frameworks

• Active participation in project-level discussion/meeting

• Get involved in the project from requirement to release
