Requirements :-
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with a proven leadership track record.
- 8+ years in API development and integration, with 3-4+ years designing technical architecture using platforms like Apigee.
- In-depth expertise in REST API design and tools like Swagger, OAS3, RAML.
- Experience with API Gateways (Kong, AWS API Gateway) and security protocols (IAM, OAuth, Auth0).
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React.js, Next.js for prototyping purposes.
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ability to define and analyze API performance metrics and KPIs.
- Experience working in Agile environments with global, distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Job Responsibility :-
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team to deliver scalable API and integration solutions.
- Define API architecture, standards, and best practices for enterprise-grade applications.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle — from design, development, deployment, to monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Guide the design and development of RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high performance and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and global teams to align technical direction with business goals.
- Ensure seamless integration with API Gateways, IAM solutions, and cloud-native services.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD, DevOps best practices, and automation tools within the team.
- Monitor API platform performance, define KPIs, analyze issues, and drive improvements.
- Foster an Agile, high-performance culture within the team.
- Provide technical guidance on backend (Node.js, Java), frontend (React.js, Next.js), and cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP).
