Database Administrator

• Experience and Knowledge of database structure languages, such as SQL, MySQL, Postgres, oracle and MonoDB etc.
• Set up security protocols to protect data from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Dockers, virtual machines, cloud services, including Preserving data integrity and migration.
• Regularly monitor database health, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to maintain smooth operations.
• Plan and execute data migrations from on-premises databases to cloud platforms, hybrid cloud or between different cloud services.
• Use scripts and cloud tools to automate routine database tasks such as backups, updates, and monitoring.
• Configure database security, authentication, encryption, auditing, and access controls.
• Perform capacity planning, database tuning, and performance optimization.
• Experience in database restoration, migration, backup, recovery and disaster recovery setup

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology with 3-5 years of Experience in DBA.
• Database professional administration certificate can be beneficial.

• Configuration and implementing database structures in mission critical database on hybrid and cloud environments.
• Plan and execute data migrations from on-premises databases to cloud platforms or between different cloud services.
• Managing data migration to the cloud from traditional databases.
• Assuring the performance, security, and availability of databases.
• Setting up, configuring, tuning, performance and maintaining cloud databases.
• Performing database maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Developing backup and recovery procedures for cloud databases.
• Working with data architects to ensure database designs align with company needs
• Monitoring system performance and identifying bottlenecks to ensure efficient and reliable data management
• Developing and implementing database security protocols to protect sensitive data
• Collaborating with IT teams to integrate cloud services with existing infrastructures
• Staying updated with new technologies and advancements in the field of cloud databases
