Requirements :-
- Provision NAS and SAN storage resources based on business requirements.
- Configure and manage Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs), aggregates, FlexVol, LUNs, and exports.
- Create and manage NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, and FC storage services.
- Monitor storage health, latency, throughput, IOPS, and utilization to ensure optimal performance.
- Support disaster recovery by implementing replication and backup strategies.
- Integrating NetApp storage with enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault or Veeam.
- Perform security hardening following NetApp best practices.
- Tune workloads for databases, VMware, Kubernetes, and AI/ML environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Manage data mobility between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Support cloud migration initiatives.
- Execute disaster recovery drills and document recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
- Configure and manage Snapshot policies.
- Implement Snap Mirror replication for disaster recovery.
- Optimize storage performance through storage efficiency technologies.
- Analyze storage trends and recommend capacity expansion strategies.
Educational Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Professional certification of NAS and SAN storage will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibility :-
- Design, deploy, and administer Google Cloud NetApp Volumes for enterprise workloads.
- Configure and manage NFS, SMB/CIFS, and multiprotocol file services.
- Plan and execute storage provisioning, capacity management, and performance tuning.
- Implement snapshot, backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Perform data migration from on-premises NetApp storage to Google Cloud NetApp.
- Configure and manage storage networking, including Private Service Access, VPC connectivity, and DNS integration.
- Monitor storage health, utilization, latency, throughput, and performance.
- Troubleshot storage-related issues affecting Linux and Windows workloads.
- Implement security controls, including IAM, Active Directory integration, encryption, and access management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, Database and application teams during cloud migration initiatives.
- Participate in on-call support and resolve critical production incidents.
