Business Analyst

● Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and to agree the scope of each consulting project

● Map out business process when required

● Conduct research, surveys and interviews and analyzing data to gain insights into the business

● Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties

● Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation

● Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems

● Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations

● Exploring business problems and modelling different solutions

● Attending meetings and compiling and presenting information orally, visually and in writing to keep clients up to date on progress

● Making recommendations for improvement and presenting these to clients

● Detecting issues and investigating ways to resolve them by assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies. Then briefing the implementing agreed solutions to the respect disciplines and monitoring them.

● Developing and implementing new procedures or training to support the changes proposed.

● Prior experience in analytics and systems development

● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in information technology or computer science although business, management, economics, mathematics or statistics can be advantageous

● High proficiency with SQL and database management

● Proven analytical abilities

● Experience in generating process documentation and reports

● Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights

● Proven ability to manage projects and user testing

● Extensive experience with data visualization

● High proficiency in technical writing

This is in our core enterprise software platform, and it needs to support both our clients, and various internal commercial teams, ensuring that they are aligned with data and insight that is available and visualized.
