Automation QA Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer, with a focus on automated testing frameworks

and tools.

Strong programming skills, with proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python,

Java, and Selenium).

In-depth knowledge of test methodologies, testing types, and testing strategies.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Leadership qualities and a desire to mentor and guide junior team members.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test objectives, scope, and strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and promptly report issues and defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.

Establish and maintain test environments, including test data and configurations, to facilitate accurate and efficient test execution.

Create and maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Implement and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for regular and reliable testing of software releases.

Identify opportunities to enhance the test automation process, test coverage, and efficiency through the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, sharing best practices and promoting professional growth.

Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and expectations.

Drive continuous improvement in QA practices, quality standards, and methodologies within the

organization.
