Assistant Chief Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Master's degree is an added advantage.

• Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) registration is preferred.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in hotel engineering, hospitality, commercial buildings, or resort projects.

• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or Assistant Chief Engineer role.

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, fire safety, electrical distribution, and preventive maintenance.

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage engineering operations at a remote site.

• Willingness to work on-site at Lemon Tree Hotel Bandipur

• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems.

• Manage electrical systems, transformers, diesel generators, HVAC, plumbing, and water treatment facilities.

• Oversee fire protection systems, elevators, electronic door locks, kitchen, and laundry equipment.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

• Lead engineering technicians, assign daily tasks, and conduct technical training.

• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving and energy-efficiency initiatives.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and AMC providers to ensure quality service delivery.

• Maintain engineering documentation, maintenance records, and statutory compliance.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and hotel engineering standards.

• Respond promptly to engineering emergencies and ensure uninterrupted hotel operations..
