About the role

Manage bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records for multiple accounts or business entities.

Record daily transactions, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.

Prepare and finalize Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports.

Handle end-to-end accounting operations using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.

Prepare MIS reports, aging reports, cash flow statements, and other management reports.

Manage Tally data backup, security, and basic troubleshooting.

Calculate, deposit, and file VAT, TDS, and income tax returns within statutory deadlines.

Ensure timely payment of applicable taxes and statutory dues.

Monitor changes in Nepalese tax laws and ensure internal accounting practices remain compliant.

Handle company registration and related processes with the Office of the Company Registrar (OCR).

Manage PAN registration, VAT registration, and other required licenses and statutory documentation.

Maintain statutory registers and support annual ROC/company filings.

Coordinate with CA/CS, auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for audits and statutory requirements.

Prepare financial reports and compliance documentation for management review.

Manage monthly payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, overtime, incentives, and benefits.

Prepare salary sheets, payslips, bank transfer files, and employee full & final settlements.

Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, leave, new joiners, resignations, and salary revisions.

Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and payroll information.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.

Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and compliance.

Expert-level proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime is mandatory.

Strong practical knowledge of Nepalese VAT, TDS, and income tax regulations.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting tools.

Practical experience with company incorporation and PAN registration processes in Nepal.

Experience handling multiple accounts or entities simultaneously.

Knowledge of statutory reporting, ROC/OCR filings, and audit coordination.

Strong understanding of payroll processing and statutory deductions.

Semi-qualified CA/CMA or MBA in Finance will be an added advantage.

Tally certification will be preferred.

Strong attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy.

Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
