Accountant

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an Accountant; prior experience in a software or SaaS company is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) or Business Studies (BBS) completed.
• Solid working knowledge of Nepalese Income Tax and VAT regulations and practical experience with statutory filings.
• Proven experience with VAT return filing and managing end-to-end AP/AR workflows.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel required). Familiarity with cloud accounting platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to work occasional in  off days.

• Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Handle end-to-end VAT return filing and ensure all VAT-related statutory submissions are complete and timely.
• Ensure Income Tax compliance, assist with tax returns, and coordinate timely statutory tax filings and reporting.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes: vendor invoices, payments, customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, bank and general ledger reconciliations, and management information (MIS) for senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with the finance and management teams.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies during audits and statutory reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and reduce risk within the finance function.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior leadership as required.
